- Blizzare Church Rules (Pushy Cell Groups)

Various Christian groups create its own rules to control their followers as evidenced by history (Times Before Christ), evidenced by men whom despite knowing who the true god and his 10 Commandments, men still turn away and lead a sinful live. Look at the temptation that had lead the past Kings of Israel astray from the Lord despite knowing who the real God is: (Saul in SAMUEL, Solomon in KINGS, and Zedekiah in JEREMIAH and many more). This is when cell group come useful. A group of Christians can renew their faith together.

Joining compulsory Cell Groups actually reinforce one another to read the Bible to understand its scriptures regularly. In this way people don’t be lead away and backslides easily when worshipping the Lord as a group. One good example is from DANIEL in the bible. He (Daniel) and his 3 friends (Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah) grew up in a foreign kind of environment and worshipped the Lord together and not being sway to the ways of idolatry by Kings’ orders. (DANIEL 1:1 - 6:28)

But it can be quite pressurizing at times when Christians become “pushy” towards others which many a time they themselves failed to notice.

Situations like being absent from 1 or 2 Church Meetings resulting in calls daily and forcing Christ into people is not really what God wants. (Phone conversation of saying ‘Please come for the next Church Meeting’ and ‘Don’t start backsliding’ verse saying ‘the pastor spoke some interesting topic this week, these are some details…hope to see you soon’)-You judge which is better.

Followers of God must always remember that God wants us to worship him from our hearts and not being forced to.

Cell groups are pillars of moral support which is good to have as well but not the one that calls you daily to talk hours on the Bible when you are struggling to meet work datelines. If you are strong faith with knowledge attained from reading and understanding the Bible regularly, you might not even need a Church Cell Group or you can join one to be of help to other new members seeking to understand more about Christ. But always try to go to the Church regularly and hear the pastor speaks as their wisdom is plentiful for taking away.

Always remember that “The Bible leads you to the right church and to the right people you can put your faith with. Not the other way round” (I will sum up the reason at the summary)

To add on, with today’s technology, a casual conversation on Msn, Facebook chat (ICQ, MIRC if anyone still playing them), makes it easy for casual conversation without being pushy. Remember that converting someone to a religion process by faith from friend. Let me describe a little more; what a lost sheep outside the herd needs is a shepherd. A shepherd guides the sheep without shouting or beating it. Instead is the calmness of other sheep that will eventually lead it to follow. Look at it that the Shepherd is God and you are one of his Sheep; and the newly joined sheep will follow the herd peacefully when other sheep present themselves well. Similarly to make others convince Christianity is the way to go, you must first make sure others are impressed with the way you live and help others as a Friend.

I had Christian friends with nice nature but because of their regular push talking about Christ to non-believers and persuading them to go to Church; he/she becomes a regular turn off.

I also had friends that were Christians that share about Christ in a neutral way. They converted more people stronger in faith than the pushy ones because of they’re non pushy ways and their always positive and cheerful nature. This made people curious why he/she could look at life so positively when it looks so bad or when things are always positively good. People then asked the reason and they will say is spiritual strength from God. By sharing a few examples like ‘This happened to me that time and I just kept praying. Then the impossible happened…’ This led their friends to explore Christ even more after they hear more and more miracles.

Note that non-believers can start praying before they accept Christ into their heart. One example is telling a non-Christian to pray while you will pray for him/her when something bad happens. Convincing others that there is definitely a God is not hard because nearly everyone knows there is a God but don’t know which one. So tell them to ask the ‘true god’ without being bias of any statue or idol. Tell them to ask ‘Dear God in Heaven’ or ‘I pray to the real God…’ as a way to start off without being bias as using dear Heavenly Father is basic Christian way of praying. With you as a Christian also praying for him/her, you can be assured that our Heavenly father will hear the non-Christian prayer if he/she ever made one. Continue praying, be an emotional support your friend when needed and leave the rest to God as he knows what is best.

Every Christian should know by now that greatest gift of Christians is ‘Prayer’ as God hears us. But it is also the greatest failure of Christians when we fail to pray.
