- Summary (Different Church, Different Rules)
Looking back at some of the rules from the cell groups you heard in regards to dressing sense, is just to ensure you do not get into bad company especially for new Christian. Dressing sense and going to sophisticated places like clubbing, discos can tempt the wrong person to approach you and forming a bad relationship which in turn can be harmful. But many a times, the Cell Group leader failed to explain the rules carefully to their members and what is it for.
Mind that these are unnecessary rules if one understands the scriptures of the Bible well enough. Remember that what goes into the mouth does not make you ‘unclean,’ as what goes into the stomach gets passed out the next day or so. What makes a person unclean is what he says or acts. In comparison, how you dress is not critically important (not running around naked of course) but rather what is the purpose you dress up for, that is important for what people noticed will be forgotten in the matter of hours or days to come. If you had read about GENESIS in the Bible, Adam and Eve were naked and felt no shame until they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Similarly, there are still tribes in the world which wear barely enough to cover their genitals. You don’t see them walking around feeling arouse don’t you?

Mark these words of mine and remember MATTHEW 15:14. Once you understand well the New Testament, you will naturally know what the right one for you is. You will also know what rules should be followed and what rules are obsolete. And not just by people blindly telling you what is good and bad and you follow.
