Is extremely detailed I can say. Many Christian do practice giving the Churches 10% of their currently ‘take-home pay’. Many called this tithing but based on Bible records; tithing is clearly associated with food for people working in the temple of god to survive. Churches claimed that in the past, people grow their own food so they give food.
In serious views, if you really can’t afford to give 10%, just give what you think can. Tithing in New Testament context did not list as a necessity but rather an act of giving the needy.
But give out of your heart because you are giving to the needy indirectly out of the Church.
